bio: United Recordings Despite the fact that football clubs, complete nations and even an airline may all be United, there is only one United Recordings! We proudly remain one of Europe’s leading independent music companies with a team so dedicated, that we formed a label just for them!
The story so far… We established United Recordings in 1998 right at the start of Europe’s dance music boom. When our first signing, The Black & White Brothers - 'Put Your Hands Up', went double platinum we knew that we were on to something! Other examples that show how much fun we have had over the last few years, include being part of the extensive Dutch club tour with Hungarian Yonderboi, the time when we were asked by Philip Morris to host a Labelland Tent at Dance Valley and of course, when during a company trip to London we saw Riva featuring Dannii Minogue perform at Top of The Pops after entering the UK Chart at number 3.
United Artists Our proudest virtue is the ability to spot talent and to move and shake it until everyone knows about it! Artists like Zki & Dobre (a.k.a. Chocolate Puma, The Good Men, Jark Prongo a.o.), Armin van Buuren, Riva, Stuart, Laidback Luke, Tom de Neef, Jamez and DJ Roog’s Hardsoul. Hits like Riva featuring Dannii Minogue - 'Who Do You Love Now', Chocolate Puma - 'I Wanna Be U', Stuart - 'Now I'm Free', Lambda - 'Hold On Tight' and Laidback Luke - 'We Can Not Get Enough!', say it all.

More than just dance! Developing talent has taken us from dance, to soul, lounge, pop and to jazz and rap. Take the notoriously sexy supperclub for instance. Who would have guessed that after 10 editions of this highly popular CD we're about to release a 'best of supperclub album' and that besides Amsterdam and Rome you can now also experience supperclub in San Francisco, Istanbul and soon in London.

We have published collections for Audi, Bacardi, O2, Mini Cooper, Chesterfield, Kluwer Publishers, Delta Lloyd, Orange and many more. Furthermore, we supplied content for a great number of Internet sites, delivered music for several documentaries, radio and television commercials - like KPN (Basco, De-Phazz, Jark Prongo and Stuart) - as well as music for television series and movies (CSI Miami, Vet Hard, Shouf Shouf Habibi, Cool).
