bio: With over a decade of musical output we at Peacefrog have a passion for challenging, innovative and heart moving music. By continually pushing forward and maintaining a distinct diversity within the roster, the 12 years and well over 150 releases that have passed have provided some of the most memorable musical moments of the last decade. Underground anthems Including Dan Bell's groundbreaking 'Losing Control', Planetary Assault Systems ' dance floor classic 'Booster', Wamdue Kids heart moving 'Whirlwind', Infiniti's highly sought after 'Sunlight', Paul Johnson's discofied 'Caught Up In Your Love' and of course Moodymann's sumptuously constructed 'Mahogany Brown' amongst many many others, have etched themselves into the dance fraternity's hearts & are still played regularly in homes & clubs throughout the world. The present day Peacefrog roster is just as exciting as the halcyon days of dance music. Artists such as Nouvelle Vague with their beautiful bossa cover versions of post punk classics and the spine-tingling lamenting lyrics of singer songwriter Jose Gonzalez, rub shoulders with the likes of genre-bending nu-soul extraordinaire Recloose, Chicago's finest undiscovered gem; Joe Lewis and the accomplished composer/producer; Readymade FC ? who weaves an alluring sonic web with his delicate melodies and intricate electronics.
