Dopo il lancio della neonata label con i Raah Project, arrivano adesso i Sem’Bro, nuovo progetto di Stefano Ghittoni e Cesare Malfatti, fondatori dei Dining Rooms, insieme a Dodo Nkishi, cantante dei Gizmo di Vittorio Cosma e Stewart Copeland e dei Mouse on Mars, per i quali è anche batterista. “Tired Heroes of the lost revolution”, questo il titolo del primo album del nuovo collettivo italo-teutonico, è un gran bel lavoro di folk-soul con una visione musicale molto intimista, elettronica, melodica ed orchestrale. Mentre le influenze artistiche di questa nuova band vanno da Leonard Cohen a Nick Drake, dai Talk Talk a Cat Stevens sino al jazz piu' spirituale, le liriche invece sono prettamente ispirate alla poesia esistenzialista di Pierpaolo Pasolini, Dino Buzzati e Jean Paul Sartre. Tra i fidati partner di questo debutto dei Sem’bro citiamo Marco Tagliola (collaboratore di John Parish, Marc Ribot, Howe Gelb e Vinicio Capossela) che ha interamente mixato il disco e Davide Rossi, abituale partner di Goldfrapp, Coldplay, Verve e Royskopp, che ha curato gli arrangiamenti degli archi.
